When you add or edit a product you can now see a 'Locations' field. Click on it and select the checkbox for any location you'd like to tag a product as belonging to. Click 'Save' to commit your changes.
Manage Products by Location
Locations give you a simple way to tag the expected location of your inventory. You can use them to note where an item is physically located in your shop (e.g 'Aisle 5', 'Stall E', etc) or even use them to flag online listing visibility (e.g 'Listed on E-Bay').
You can tag each product with multiple locations. Note - if you want to track where a sale is made use the Tills feature instead.
Note - think of this feature more as a extra note field; when a sale is made the location field will remain as is, it is not automatically updated or tracked. Likewise if you have multiple Qty of an item, this feature will not let you distinguish that x items are at Stall 1, and x items are at Stall 2, etc.
If you have multiple stores and don't want 'Store 1' to see 'Store 2's inventory or data, this is not the feature to use. Instead you would want to add a new store (on a new ConsignHQ subscription) by clicking the icon with your initials in the top right corner and then 'Add Store' .

To add a location
To add a location go the locations screen by click 'Locations' on the main naviation. Click the 'Add Location' button near the top right of the screen. Enter the location name (e.g 'Shelf 1') and press 'Save'.
Repeat this process for each location you want to add.
You can now associate products with a location.

View a products location data
On the products screen find the product by searching or scanning.
You can also filter all products in the system by the Location dropdown (which will only be visible once you add a location into the system).
Find the product you searched for in the results, click on 'Manage' or click the product SKU to launch the view product screen. The Locations field will list all locations you have tagged this product as belonging to.
